We are delighted to receive the State Honorary Award.

As the highlight of each award year, honorary awards and state honorary awards are presented to winegrowers who have been particularly successful over a longer period at the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Agriculture's State Wine and Sparkling Wine Awards. The award ceremony for the largest German growing region took place on Friday, November 24, 2023 in the old Lokhalle in Mainz.

We received this great award in the presence of the Rhine-Hessian Wine Queen Annalena Baum and State Secretary Andy Becht from Chamber President Norbert Schindler.

"This is the result when many gears mesh well together" and by that we mean our good team that stands behind us. On behalf of the employees, our long-time employee Marcel Remmert and our eldest son Lucas were present at the festive presentation of the honorary award.

Our wines are continuously highly awarded at national and international tastings. In 2023 we received 4 gold medals at Mundus Vini International. Our MC Riesling dry received a gold medal at the "Vinum Riesling Challenge". The Riesling Classic scored 90 out of 100 points at "Best of Riesling." The DLG awarded the title "Best Collection White Wine Fruity" and the placement among the top 100 companies at 35th place.

Press release from the Chamber of Agriculture: When the state honors the best in the wine industry, then "the constant striving for quality is rewarded," says Chamber President Ökonomierat Norbert Schindler. Because as the highlight of each award year, the honorary awards and state honorary awards are presented to winegrowers who have been particularly successful over a longer period at the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Agriculture's State Wine and Sparkling Wine Awards. The award ceremony for the largest of all German growing regions, Rheinhessen, has now taken place in the old Lokhalle in Mainz.

"The state award has been an integral part of the quality promise to end consumers for over 70 years and is therefore a living tradition," said Chamber President Ökonomierat Norbert Schindler. He emphasized the importance of the largest wine competition: "The products awarded with a Chamber Prize Medal mark the qualitative peak and have a guiding function for the market. It is therefore important to duly acknowledge these achievements." State Secretary Andy Becht also acknowledged the craftsmanship of the wine-growing businesses in his speech.
