In January and February, the vines rested – but we did not. This was the time for pruning, each individual vine by hand. This is the basis for a balanced yield and healthy vines.

In March, the fruit canes were tied – which sounds romantic, but is real manual labor in the open air. The canes are shaped so that they sprout ideally later. And by the way: control and repair work of the wire frames, posts and replanting of vines

In April, things start to turn green! Time for soil cultivation. At the end of April, we planted our new vineyard.

Now in May, it's full speed ahead! The young shoots grow, the vine year picks up speed. Our team is out there every day.

From January to May, the first foundation for the vintage is laid – quietly, precisely, full of dedication.
